  • Why I Lost Interest In My Girlfriend

Why I Lost Interest In My Girlfriend

Guys fall in love based on how they feel around a woman. When you start forcing things and probably don’t go with the flow, they start withdrawing. The best way to go around things is to be the best version of yourself.

16 guys revealed the reasons why they lost interest in their girlfriends. So I’ve compiled these responses and they revealed one thing that made them lose interest.

I felt this could maybe help ladies to understand some reasons why men lose Interest. Well, the names have been changed to hide their identity.

    (1) “She was every guy’s friend, she chats with guys alone on her chat lists. All incoming calls are from her male friends. That was crazy and I couldn’t cope with it”.– David, 26

    (2) “She never talked good about herself, would put herself and other women down constantly. It was like she was the most insecure person and wanted everyone else to be insecure. She was really not worth my time.” – Biggie, 28

    (3) “She always nags. She complains about everything, the last time we went out she kept complaining about how she hates the sunny day and that we should have gone out at night” – Fisayo, 31

    (4) “She’s so pretty, but always full of herself. She feels she’s miss world or something and she never takes corrections.” – Stephen, 25

    (5) “She always talks about us getting married and I wasn’t just prepared for that.” — Michael, 27

    (11) “She kept saying how smart she was. Kind of in a braggart way, which, in a sense, was attractive, because it’s hard to find women who put an emphasis on being intelligent. However, the part that really got me was that she was not smart. At all, It was super depressing, to be honest. On our first date, she said without hesitation that Africa is a country. No, it’s really not. It’s an entire continent made up of many countries…” – Trey, 26

    (12) “She actually said to me, ‘I hate reading! It’s so boring!’ God. Don’t be proud of that.” – Tom, 29

  • My First Days In England

    My First Days In England

After my arrival in London, I travelled in a taxi to “Luton” where my school is located. Initially, I was with a friend for few days before I rented a place to live in. After arriving in Luton, I was super excited to the extent that my friend even called me a “bush girl”. ?

The very first night, I was excited about the free WiFi and the beautiful environment but the weather was freezing!!
Before I arrived in the UK, I didn’t use to wear trousers and I didn’t have any. I wasn’t used to wearing them. The weather was freezing, the next day I ran to the mall to buy trousers.? Thank God my friend was living close to the mall.

The 3rd day I went to school “University of Bedfordshire” for registration. The registration process was so fast, no filling of forms, all registration process done online. Took me few minutes, no standing or lining up. After that, my friend took me round the school for a while also, I was just amazed by the perfect structure. I kept taking lots of pictures.

    My first lecture…

During my first lecture, I didn’t understand what the lecturer was saying. The accent, he’s British! But before the lecture ended I was understanding the accent better. The lecture room was comfortable. Beautiful environment, I just sat there wondering. Another thing amazed me, no one was writing in their notes, just me! I was taking notes. All the students were typing on their laptops. I wasn’t the only black girl in class but I guess I was the new one in town.

And yea, the food in the UK

A plate of rice in any African restaurant is about £8 or more that’s like N4,000 naira. It was cheaper for me to go to the African market to buy food stuffs and cook rather than eating out. But some foods are cheap, chicken is a popular british food. It’s one of the cheapest things you will get in the UK. You can get chicken and chips for about £2. Chicken wings and small chips. Quite affordable.

I’m a lady who loves photography, I love to explore, I enjoy taking pictures on the beautiful streets of London.
After about few weeks, I settled down well. Made more friends, got used to the British system faster than I thought and even gained weight. Lol!

It all started from My journey to the United Kingdom. Subscribe for more unique blog posts.

  • My Journey To The United Kingdom

My Journey To The United Kingdom

How do I even begin to write?
Alright, I’m just going to start from the beginning. Finally, the day came. I was leaving Nigeria to the UK to study. I boarded the plane going to London Heathrow Airport from Lagos, Nigeria. I didn’t even begin to think about things to do after arrival at the airport in London, all I thought about was how I was going to take pictures on the famous London bridge, eat UK chicken peri-peri and make lots of Oyibo friends and also speak with British accent…lol!

The journey was quite smooth, I was flying Virgin Atlantic for the first time and it was also my first time flying international. I sat comfortably with zero worries and enjoyed my flight, I flew business class so it was pretty much comfortable. The food was also great, I was also served many glasses of wine and juice. Beautiful service from the crew.

It was a great flight, I had a chat with an Old man sitting close to me, we chatted for a while and I got to know he has been living in the UK before I was born..lol. I told him it was my first time going abroad though..and I guess he knew obviously because I kept asking questions about how to do things on my seat. He was such a nice man.

…And I finally arrived in London

I’m in London, Oh yes! “Really, I’m in london” I said to myself. That beautiful place I see in the papers and on the TV. I’m here!
The plane made a safe landing on the runway. I arrived at terminal 3. Oh, it was a long walk to the immigration officers. I think I walked about 10 minutes or more. I got my visa checked, my admission letter and documents checked, and finally went through. I got my luggage set and headed to get a taxi.

Getting outside the airport, it was freezing!!! I arrived in January and it was still winter and I wasn’t even wearing a proper winter jacket. Well,
I wasn’t really bothered about the cold, all I wanted to do was take pictures at that particular moment but no one was available to take my pictures as everyone were busy with their lives at the airport. So, I got on a taxi and headed straight to school where the journey officially began.

I would be sharing on my next post how things went on in the UK. Subscribe and don’t miss out!

  • I’m back to blogging!

    I’m back to blogging!

Hello everyone! I hope 2018 has been good to everyone. It has been over a year since I pressed the paused button on this blog. At that time, I wasn’t sure when I was going to get back to blogging because I had to go for my masters. Getting to the united kingdom, I realised I had to increase focus and concentration. I found myself in a new environment, different culture and society.

I decided to put blogging aside for a while but I promised myself to come back after masters. Yes, it has taken me a long time to provide an update, but I didn’t decide on when to start blogging until quite recently.

Regarding blogging, I recently decided it was time to keep my readers updated on my blog.
I actually didn’t expect to stay away for this many months, but the time went by quickly. As the months went by, I found out that I’ve really missed blogging and I stopped writing too. But at the same time, I realized that taking a break from blogging has actually helped me increase my focus as a blogger, realising what blog content I should focus on, and also realising what interests me most in blogging. Taking a break made me know a lot more about myself and what I was actually capable of achieving.

    What’s new?

Over time, I really wanted to write more and post more on this blog but I realised that at the same time I had to remain focus.

Once I better understood where I work best, I began to design my blog around my strengths. During my long blogging break, I started to think of what I could do best to improve my blogging skills. I told myself I had to stop doing things that I wasn’t very good at or that drained my energy.

Anything that wasn’t in my “zone of genius” was written off as it was only taking my time. Writing may take your time so you need to do what you’re really good at and not resting around your weaknesses.
Well, my blog contents remains almost the same, some categories removed and new categories added, but a brand new blog design which looks amazing to me!

I will be posting about my life experience in the United kingdom, travel stories as I travelled to some exciting cities and planning to make some soon. Britain is and has always been a mixed race society, so I embraced people from different cultures. Also I’ll be posting poems, quotes, stories and lifestyle articles.

I would try as much as possible to keep my posts short as a lot of people really don’t cherish long articles. Short and well detailed articles works better for me, I like my readers to be well engaged when reading my blog posts. Well, a new beginning for me and I’m excited and I hope you love reading my posts just like I love writing them. I will also keep my eyes on the comments, feedback, and suggestions I receive from readers to improve on all aspects.

  • Taking a Stand for God

    Taking a Stand for God

    By David J. Stewart
Ephesians 6:13, “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Hardly anyone takes a stand for God anymore. Even professed Christians are apostate and hardly ever take a stand for God. 2nd Timothy 3:12 says that Christians who take a stand for Christ WILL BE persecuted. Anytime you raise a flag for God, you will be targeted by the wicked. Of all the televangelists, none of them take a genuine stand for God. Of all the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) singers and musicians, none of them take a genuine stand for God. That’s why unsaved Catholics and the sinful world follow after them buying their albums and attending their concerts. It is apostasy!

James 4:4 says that anyone who befriends the world is God’s enemy. You cannot straddle-the-fence. it’s one side or the other. If you are lukewarm, you’re not fooling God. If you take a stand for God, you will be hated by the sinful world and backslidden believers. Sadly, most of your persecution will come from other professed Christians if you stand for God. Standing for God means exposing the hellish cult of Roman Catholicism. Standing for God means strongly opposing the gay rights movement. God deliver us from Hollywood believers who never take a stand for God. I mean truly take a stand for God. There are many one issue people in our churches today, who stand on politically correct issues, but avoid anything controversial, like abortion and feminism, at all cost.

Anytime that money is involved there is apostasy and sinful compromise. The world doesn’t need any more home-friendly ecumenical churchgoers. We need Jesus-friendly homophobic Christians. You ought to be afraid of homosexuality, be very afraid, because it is a vile sin that brings God’s judgment (Romans 1:24-32). All sin brings God’s judgment. We are living in woeful times of sin, rebellion, and hatred against Christianity. There is a false type of religion that is being labeled as Christian today, but it is New Age demonism rooted in experiences and feelings instead of absolute truth and the promises of God’s Word. Few Christians are willing to be despised and rejected of men for the lord’s sake (John 12:43). If you carry a Bible the world will give you up. Take a stand for God my friend.

Those who stand for God now will be exceedingly happy and rejoice in eternity; but those who hide their candle under a bushel, hobnob with the sinful world, and support ecumenical ministers in bed with the Pope will be paupers in eternity. There is no rot with a worse stench than the Catholic Church and all the milquetoast preachers who are eerily silent about such evils. Pat Robertson is a satanic plant, a deceiver who promotes, supports, nurtures, and praise Roman Catholicism. It is evil. Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron are in the same ecumenical boat to perdition. Birds-of-a-feather flock together.

You show me a preacher who will cry aloud against the evils of Roman Catholicism, and their damnable teaching of sacramental salvation, and I’ll show you a man who is right with God. There are no such men today who are celebrities and part of the ecumenical movement. Max Lucado is another satanic plant, and Rick Warren (member of the Council On Foreign Relations). The purpose of these sinister ministers is to unite evangelicals with Roman Catholicism, and thus corrupt the Gospel completely with the Luciferian ideologies of the New World Order.

Nearly everyone who professes to be a Christian these days is self-conscious and concerned about what others think about them. It would be career suicide for most celebrity Christians if they truly took a stand for God. No one wants to rise above the pack for God, so they all go down with the sinking Titanic in apostasy. In order to take a stand for God these days, you’ll likely have to stand alone, as I do. Who is on the Lord’s side? (Joshua 24:15).
